Fire Protection Superintendent

About the role

The Fire Protection Superintendent oversees all fire protection systems and procedures in a facility, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of fire protection systems including sprinklers, alarms, and detection devices.
• Ensure all staff are trained and certified in fire safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of fire suppression systems.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for fire incidents.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure fire safety is integrated into overall facility operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Safety, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection management.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
