About the role

This is a sworn firefighting position responsible for the strategic oversight, maintenance, improvement, and logistics of the Eddy County Fire & Rescue (ECFR) Training Facility.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the utility and growth of training buildings and props to enhance departmental capabilities
• Establish the facility as a regional training hub
• Manage internal fire academies
• Coordinate with external educational and state agencies
• Lead the planning for large-scale conferences and hosted training events
