About the role
A key responsibility of this role is monitoring and responding to the hotel's fire alarm and life safety systems, ensuring any alerts are handled quickly and in accordance with established emergency procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of the hotel's guests, associates, and assets.
- Monitor and respond to the hotel's fire alarm and life safety systems.
- Handle alerts quickly and in accordance with established emergency procedures.
- Identify and manage potentially dangerous situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and in accordance with policies.
Requirements
- Passionate about safety and security.
- Similar work experience.
- A post-secondary diploma, degree, or industry-related certifications (a plus).
- Experience in safety and security operations.
- A team player.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
