Job Summary

Immediate Opening for a Fulltime Loss Prevention Officer
Location: Moorhead, MN

About the Role

Identify shoplifters through floor patrol and closed circuit television.
Report writing.
Interact with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
Provide courtroom testimony as required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Fulltime/ 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time.
• Reliable transportation.
• Communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means.
• Write legibly, accurately, and easily understandable reports.
• Assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation.
• Trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision.
• Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated.
• Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement.
• Criminal Justice or related studies a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
