Job Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch technicians, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs, using radios or telephones
- Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules
- Relay work orders, messages, and information to/from technicians, supervisors, and field inspectors
- Confer with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment
- Maintain contact with all technicians on assignment as well as maintain their status and location
- Enter, update and retrieve information via multiple computer programs
- Maintain accurate records and logs of all telephone calls and other records, files and information systems
- Arrange and maintain various types of records including job files
- Complete the setup of new jobs/projects
- Responsible for data and budget entry
- Manage job billings
- Perform routine clerical work as required
- Assist in the completion of special projects; if applicable
- Accomplish responsibilities as required using business software as approved by WSFPOther duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Two years’ experience in the fire protection industry or related industry
- Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Glenwood Springs, CO and the surrounding area
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in multi-tasking
- Able to function and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Puts forth a courteous, friendly, helpful attitude at all times when answering the phones and dealing with both other associates and customers
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen test and background check
