Fire Alarm Project Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Cook up day-to-day activities for fire alarm installation and construction projects
- Support Project Managers with scheduling manpower, materials, inspections, and project milestones
- Track project progress, labor hours, equipment deliveries, and documentation
- Manage project files including drawings, submittals, RFIs, permits, and closeout documents
- Schedule inspections, testing, programming, and customer training
- Maintain communication with customers, AHJs, and internal departments
- Ensure projects comply with NFPA 72, NEC, local codes, and company standards
- Aid in project reporting, change orders, and billing documentation
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in fire alarm, low voltage, electrical construction, or project coordination
- Knowledge of commercial fire alarm systems such as Notifier, Simplex, Siemens, or Edwards preferred
- Familiarity with construction scheduling and project documentation
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- NICET certification is a plus
