Western States Fire Protection (WSFP) and its subsidiaries are dedicated to protecting lives and property through innovative life safety systems. As a Fire Alarm & Detection Technician Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable, high-quality customer support.

Responsibilities

• Aid and train in fire alarm installations
• Perform fire alarm system troubleshooting techniques
• Analyze blueprints

Qualifications

• Desire a career in fire protection
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of NICET level 1 exam within the first year of employment
• Experience with technology such as iPad, smartphone, etc.
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Clean appearance and reliable transportation
• Willing to pass post-offer drug screen, background and reference check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
• Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking

Pay

$18-21 per hour, depending on years of experience and certifications.
