ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Inspects, services, maintains, and repairs various fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensures work complies with relevant codes.
- Develops and implements procedures to prevent defective services from recurring.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- NICET Certified Level III or IV required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Fire Protection/Life Safety Industry.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Thorough knowledge and application of the National Fire Alarm Code and pertinent UFC codes.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply system design plans, as well as building construction drawings and documents.
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team on all aspects of fire sprinkler systems, including maintenance, testing, repairs, and troubleshooting.
