Financial Systems Administrator I

About the role
The Financial System Administrator will assist in administering daily operations and maintenance processes of all financial systems, including Blackline, Fintrac (in-house data mapping database), Oracle Cloud EPM, and Prologue. This role oversees day-to-day administration, such as user management, security roles, and system monitoring, while providing support to end-users to help them navigate and utilize financial systems effectively. The position also involves maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, and requires a strong understanding of Finance alongside technical proficiency in databases, reporting, and Excel (Smartview).
Additionally, the role supports daily reconciliation tasks, month-end book closings, maintenance of monthly actual-to-plan-to-forecast reporting processes, and the yearly budgeting process.
Responsibilities
- Support daily reconciliation efforts and all data needs for Blackline.
- Oversee user management, security roles, and system monitoring.
- Provide end-user support for all financial systems.
- Support the monthly forecasting process, including loading and reconciling data, assisting end users, and maintaining planning forms and reporting templates.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures for all financial systems.
- Manage team documents and Smartview templates on SharePoint and shared drives.
- Act as a liaison between Finance and IT to facilitate support of the Finance Reporting environment, including problem analysis and solution development.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as required.
- Adhere to regulatory and compliance policies and standards, completing required compliance training.
- Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Information Technology, MIS, Finance, or a related field.
- 1+ years of financial management experience in accounting in corporate or public environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong accounting background with equivalent work experience in reconciliation.
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Strong business systems and applications skills.
Skills
- Understanding of Blackline, Oracle Databases, Oracle Cloud EPM, Prologue, or Cloud GL ERP, and Alteryx.
- Knowledge of general business theory and practices, and basic accounting principles.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Smartview).
- Experience with financial tools such as financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders through clear communication, proactive collaboration, and cross-functional insights.
- Aligns relationship-building efforts with enterprise goals to drive strategic results.
- Builds trusted client relationships (internal or external) by identifying needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Pay
Pay Range: $47,146.50 - $78,618.00
