This role builds and strengthens member relationships while introducing members to new, more efficient ways of banking online, via the mobile app, and at ATMs—both in person and virtually.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with new and existing members to understand their financial needs and deepen relationships.
- Process routine and complex financial transactions for members quickly and accurately (including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier’s checks, and IRAs) in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Provide recommendations and assist members with a wide array of financial solutions to satisfy their spending, saving, borrowing, and investing needs.
- Educate members to bank more efficiently using the web, mobile, and ATM.
- Participate in offsite membership development activities such as events and visits to businesses to promote membership.
- Uncover members’ financial goals and introduce members to internal business specialists to help meet those goals.
- Leverage phone and email to perform regular member outreach, including outbound sales, follow-ups on pending recommendations and services, and proactive check-ins; maximize the effectiveness of these calls through appropriate planning and prioritization.
- Handle escalated member issues as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested by your immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- High School degree or GED required; Bachelor’s in Business may be considered in lieu of experience.
- Minimum one year of branch experience required.
- Minimum two years of general work experience, customer service, call center, or sales experience required.
- Commissioned notary or ability to obtain a notary commission in the state where you work within six months of starting the role required.
- Banking products, cross-selling, member onboarding, new account openings, retail banking, and banking software experience preferred.

Pay
The good faith range for this position is $24.00 to $27.00 an hour. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
