About This Role

The Financial Service Representative II plays an important role in delivering personalized financial solutions and strengthening member relationships. In this role, you’ll assist members with complex transactions, guide them through their financial journeys, and proactively promote products and services that meet their needs, while ensuring every interaction reflects our mission and values. You will take the lead in creating exceptional member experiences through consultative conversations, teamwork, and a commitment to service excellence. Your expertise and care will help members achieve their financial goals while contributing to the growth and success of Securityplus. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional care while managing advanced financial services such as account openings, IRAs, and business accounts. Ensure each member feels valued and supported by delivering personalized attention and consistently exceeding service expectations.
  • Take a consultative approach to understand each member’s unique financial situation and offer customized solutions that strengthen their financial health, addressing everything from personal banking needs to business needs.
  • Proactively drive growth by deepening member relationships, increasing share of wallet, and expanding business partnerships. Utilize a service-driven approach that positions Securityplus as the trusted partner for all financial needs, contributing to both individual and business success.
  • Manage intricate financial transactions with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Ensure a seamless experience that reinforces member trust and aligns with Securityplus’ standards of operational excellence.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for team members, offering expertise, guidance, and mentorship. Promote a culture of continuous learning, helping the team stay informed and deliver exceptional service.
  • Actively participate in community outreach and events to enhance Securityplus’ presence. Strengthen relationships by promoting membership benefits and fostering connections that extend beyond the branch, contributing to the credit union’s growth and reputation.
  • Partner across departments to address member needs and strengthen the credit union’s overall service effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Two (2) years of experience in customer service, financial services, or sales, with a focus on providing tailored solutions.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a passion for helping members reach their financial goals.
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Experience handling complex financial transactions and a deep understanding of financial products and services.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eligibility to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and maintain registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
  • Availability to work Saturdays.
