Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of a client engagement including: Preparing and reviewing detailed reports and performing complex analyses related to cash flows, quality of earnings and assets, working capital, potential liabilities and risks, and the impact of findings on purchase price considerations
- Advising clients on how to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks in mergers and acquisitions, including providing recommendations related to deal structure alternatives
- Reviewing work prepared by engagement team members and providing clear, constructive feedback
- Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality
- Manage and contribute to multiple engagements of varying size and complexity, providing due diligence and consulting services to business owners, private equity groups, search funds, and family offices
- Support business development efforts by building and maintaining relationships with current and prospective clients, identifying market opportunities, and effectively communicating Boulay's value proposition
- Train, mentor, and coach less experienced staff
- Contribute to the continued development and use of best practices within the Transaction Group, including policies, processes, and tools
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of related due diligence experience
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles
- Demonstrated career progression, including assuming additional responsibility for deliverables to clients, senior engagement team members, etc.
- Extensive experience in project management including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, and clients, toward the successful completion of a project
- Demonstrates adaptability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new processes, apply accounting concepts, and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excells in independent work and collaboration, with strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English while managing multiple priorities
Preferred
- CPA, CFA, ASA, or ABV
- Demonstrated ability and desire to bring new business to the Firm

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is: $120,000 - $165,000. This salary range reflects the anticipated responsibilities and qualifications of a successful candidate for this role. Final compensation may vary depending upon an individual's experience, knowledge, and skills. Individuals may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of incentives, commissions, profit sharing, and more, depending on the role.
