Responsibilities
- Direct the annual planning cycle, building budgets that align financial targets with operational priorities across the business.
- Oversee month-end close activities to ensure accurate records, timely reporting, and meaningful variance analysis for leadership review.
- Prepare and deliver recurring financial reports that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities affecting performance.
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to support decision-making, resource planning, and overall financial stability.
- Partner with restaurant operations leaders to evaluate results, improve cost controls, and strengthen profitability at the unit and corporate levels.
- Refine budgeting and forecasting methods to improve accuracy, accountability, and visibility into financial performance.
- Monitor key financial indicators and recommend actions that support efficient operations and sound fiscal management.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing annual budgeting and broader financial planning processes.
- Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and financial statement review.
- Proven ability to produce clear, accurate financial reporting for management stakeholders.
- Experience preparing cash flow projections and analyzing short- and long-term liquidity needs.
- Background supporting restaurant management or multi-unit restaurant operations.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present practical business recommendations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across finance and operations teams.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. A CPA certification is preferred but not required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operational finance, preferably in a restaurant or similar food service environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
