About the role
The Financial Client Associate serves as a critical teammate in providing exceptional service and support to a Financial Advisor or team of Advisors and clients. This role offers opportunities to shape the client experience, driving trust and confidence and fostering lifelong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing high-level support and ensuring timely resolution of client inquiries.
- Aid Financial Advisors with account opening, sending required documents, and resolving account issues.
- Research and resolve account problems, missing documents, and identify errors, initiating corrective measures and relaying correct information to clients.
- Create and prepare daily client reports and presentations for client meetings and Financial Advisors, maintaining client notes and following up on action items.
- Assist in financial planning efforts by entering client data in MoneyGuidePro, setting up accounts, and reviewing options in the client portal.
- Perform administrative tasks including scanning, organizing documents, scheduling meetings, and assisting with mailing and client requests.
- Act as a liaison between the Branch and Home Office for various projects and issues, such as technology needs, outside vendors, and branch procedures.
- Promote new clients through mailings and seminars, and assist Financial Advisors in prospecting.
- Follow firm policies, procedures, and maintain files in compliance with firm and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide backup support as needed to other branch support personnel.
Qualifications
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software and technology.
- Experience with Pershing/NetX360, Salesforce, Orion, and MoneyGuidePro is a plus.
- Professional presence with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communicator (oral and written) across various communication channels and solid interpersonal skills.
- Discretion in handling confidential information and the ability to exercise initiative and suggest improvements.
Education and/or Work Experience
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum Required: 1+ years of work experience in client services, preferably within the financial industry.
