About the role
The Financial Client Associate serves as a critical teammate in providing exceptional service and support to a Financial Advisor or team of Advisors and clients. This role offers the opportunity to shape the client experience in a way that delights those served and drives trust and confidence, fostering lifelong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing high-level support and ensuring timely resolution of client inquiries.
- Aid Financial Advisors with account openings, sending necessary documents, and managing account maintenance.
- Research and resolve account issues, missing documents, and errors, and follow up with clients to provide accurate information.
- Create and prepare daily client reports and presentations for client meetings and financial planning sessions.
- Maintain client notes and track action items using tools like Salesforce, Orion, and Microsoft Bookings.
- Support financial planning efforts by entering client data into MoneyGuidePro and guiding clients through account setup and review options.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scanning and organizing documents, scheduling meetings, and assisting with correspondence and client requests.
- Act as a liaison between the Branch and Home Office for various projects and issues, including technology needs, vendor relations, and branch procedures.
- Promote new clients through mailings and seminars, and assist Financial Advisors in prospecting efforts.
- Comply with firm policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines, maintaining accurate and organized files.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning other software and technologies.
- Experience with Pershing/NetX360, Salesforce, Orion, and MoneyGuidePro is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements and suggest new ideas.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
Education and/or Work Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- At least 1+ years of work experience in client services, preferably within the financial industry.
