About the role
The Financial Client Associate serves as a critical teammate in providing exceptional service and support to a Financial Advisor or team of Advisors and clients. This role offers the opportunity to shape the client experience, driving trust and confidence, and fostering lifelong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing high-level support and timely resolution of client inquiries.
- Aid Financial Advisors in opening new accounts, sending necessary account and transaction documents to clients, and resolving account problems.
- Research and resolve account issues, identify errors, and implement corrective measures. Follow up and communicate corrected information to clients.
- Create and prepare daily client reports and presentations for client meetings and/or Financial Advisors. Maintain client notes and track resulting action items using tools like Salesforce, Orion, and Microsoft Bookings.
- Assist in financial planning efforts by entering client data into MoneyGuidePro, setting up accounts, and guiding clients through the client portal.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scanning and organizing documents, scheduling client meetings and events, executing daily tasks, and managing correspondence.
- Act as a liaison between the Branch and Home Office for various projects and issues, including technology needs, vendor relations, and branch procedures.
- Promote new clients through mailings and seminars, and assist Financial Advisors in prospecting.
- Follow firm policies, procedures, and maintain files in compliance with firm and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide backup support as needed to other branch support personnel.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning other software and technology.
- Experience with Pershing/NetX360, Salesforce, Orion, and MoneyGuidePro is advantageous.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a professional presence.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communicator (oral and written) across various channels and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to seek improvements in processes, suggest new ideas, and approaches.
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
Education and/or Work Experience
- Minimum required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum required: 1+ years of work experience in customer or client services, preferably within the financial industry.
