About the role
The Financial Client Associate is a critical teammate in providing exceptional service and support to a Financial Advisor or team of Advisors and clients ensuring that all client's needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. This role offers the opportunity to shape the client experience, driving trust and confidence and forging lifelong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary point of contact for clients and provides high-level support, responding to client inquiries and ensuring timely resolution.
- Affords assistance in opening new accounts and sending required account and transaction documents to clients.
- Researches and resolves account problems, missing documents, etc., identifying errors and initiating corrective measures. Follows up and relays correct information to clients.
- Creates, prepares, and reviews daily client reports and presentations for client meetings and/or for Financial Advisor(s).
- Maintains client notes and follows up on resulting action items, leveraging tools such as Salesforce, Orion, and Microsoft Bookings, etc.
- Assists in financial planning efforts by entering client data in MoneyGuidePro, financial planning software, and guiding clients through account set up and review options in the client portal.
- Performs tasks including but not limited to scanning and organizing documents, scheduling client meetings and calendar events, executing daily tasks and notifications, preparing correspondence, assisting with mailing and client requests.
- Acts as a liaison between the Branch and Home Office for various projects and issues, such as technology needs, outside vendors, branch procedures, etc.
- Assists Financial Advisor(s) with the prospecting of new clients through mailings and seminars.
- Follows firm policies, procedures, and maintains files in accordance with firm and regulatory guidelines.
- Performs administrative duties as required by the Financial Advisor(s) or branch manager.
- Provides backup support as required to other branch support personnel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software and technology.
- Experience with Pershing/NetX360, Salesforce, Orion, and MoneyGuidePro is a plus.
- Professional presence with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with detail-oriented, excellent organization skills, and able to manage a variety of tasks.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, evolving environment; excellent time management skills.
- Excellent communicator (oral and written) across a wide variety of communication channels (in-person, phone, and virtually); solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to seek new ways to improve processes, suggest new ideas and approaches.
- Exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
Education and/or Work Experience
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum Required: 1+ year of work experience in client services, preferably within the financial industry.
Pay
Between $25.43 to $31.78 per hour.
Work Environment
- The position requires the ability to work in a stationary position for several hours at a time and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally.
- Some filing is required.
- The work environment is an air-conditioned, smoke-free, office environment.
- This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
