About the role

The Financial Client Associate serves as a critical teammate in providing exceptional service and support to a Financial Advisor or team of Advisors and clients. This role offers opportunities to shape the client experience, drive trust and confidence, and forge lifelong relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, providing high-level support and timely resolution of client inquiries.
  • Aid in opening new accounts, sending required documents, and resolving account issues.
  • Research and resolve account problems, missing documents, and other issues, identifying errors and initiating corrective measures.
  • Create and review daily client reports and presentations for client meetings and financial planning sessions.
  • Maintain client notes and follow up on resulting action items using tools like Salesforce, Orion, and Microsoft Bookings.
  • Assist in financial planning efforts by entering client data into MoneyGuidePro and guiding clients through account setup and review options.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scanning and organizing documents, scheduling meetings, and assisting with client requests.
  • Act as a liaison between the Branch and Home Office for various projects and issues, including technology needs, vendor relations, and branch procedures.
  • Promote new clients through mailings and seminars, and assist in prospecting efforts.
  • Follow firm policies, procedures, and maintain files in compliance with firm and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide backup support to other branch support personnel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software and technology.
  • Experience with Pershing/NetX360, Salesforce, Orion, and MoneyGuidePro is a plus.
  • Professional presence with strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communicator (oral and written) across various communication channels.
  • Ability to seek new ways to improve processes, suggest new ideas, and approaches.
  • Exercise discretion in handling confidential information.

Education and/or Work Experience

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum Required: 1+ years of work experience in client services, preferably within the financial industry.

Pay Range

$22.11 to $27.64 per hour

Work Environment

  • Stationary position for several hours at a time.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Filing is required.
  • Air-conditioned, smoke-free, office environment.
  • Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
