About the role

The Financial Center Manager II is a senior, hands-on leader accountable for sustained growth, client experience, talent development and risk discipline within a larger, more complex or higher-volume Financial Center.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the business plan, production pipeline, profitability, expense discipline and goal achievement for a larger or more complex Financial Center.
  • Use scorecards, income drivers, client segmentation, market trends and peer insights to identify growth opportunities and best practices.
  • Lead advanced outside calling and centers-of-influence development to acquire and deepen high-value consumer, business, lending and wealth relationships.
  • Coach Financial Center leaders and colleagues on pipeline management, relationship deepening, referral effectiveness and disciplined execution.
  • Set the standard for personalized, proactive and high-touch service across the assigned Financial Center or market scope.
  • Own complex, high-value or sensitive client relationships and escalations through completion with transparent communication.
  • Coach leaders and colleagues on relationship reviews, retention strategies and sustainable service-recovery practices.
  • Use client feedback, complaint trends and service data to implement improvements across the market.
  • Lead leadership development and culture.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach and retain a high-performing team while serving as a mentor and resource to other Financial Center leaders.
  • Establish consistent coaching, performance-management, sales/service and talent-review routines.
  • Build development plans, readiness plans, succession options and bench strength for critical Financial Center roles.
  • Maintain strong oversight of operational, regulatory, reputational, human-capital and sales-practice risk.
  • Act on audit results, exceptions, losses, complaints and process trends, requiring sustainable corrective action and follow-through.
  • Represent Peapack as a senior market leader and connect opportunities to wealth, lending, treasury, commercial and other enterprise partners.

Qualifications

  • Ace's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 7 to 10+ years of retail banking, Financial Center leadership, relationship management or comparable financial services experience, including 3+ years of supervisory or people-leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to lead a larger, complex or high-volume Financial Center and deliver sustained business growth, client loyalty, team accountability and operational integrity.
  • Experience coaching leaders, building talent pipelines, supporting performance across multiple locations or leading market-level initiatives preferred.
  • Strong relationship-development skills, including community engagement, centers-of-influence development, referral management and relationship deepening.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer, business, lending, digital, treasury and wealth solutions and the ability to coordinate enterprise-wide recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Center operations, risk management, audit controls and banking regulations; ability to meet applicable SAFE Act, NMLS, Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Established centers-of-influence, private banking or affluent client experience, Notary Public commission and bilingual capability based on market needs preferred.

The approximate pay range for this position is $72,563 to $127,000, plus an opportunity to earn performance-based incentives. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
