Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the Business Banking portfolio under $3MM in sales revenue.
  • Oversee a tier 2/3 branch with high levels of market growth opportunities, complex transactions, and/or in a de novo market.
  • Manage and lead priorities through planning and execution to drive all aspects of branch performance, including growth activities for outside business development.
  • Identify, develop, and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate and nurture existing customer relationships.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of Penn Community Bank's retail and commercial products and services.
  • Coach team to confidently engage customers in technology-enabled interactions, providing solutions and advice-oriented consultation that improves the client's financial well-being.
  • Acquire and retain talent through effective onboarding coaching and development.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing team that drives acquisition growth, mitigates risk, develops and maintains collaborative partnerships, and promotes employee engagement and positive consumer/business experiences.
  • Manage assigned branch, including operations, administration, staffing, audits, compliance, and security.
  • Participate in assigned branch sales and service campaigns.

Requirements

  • Minimum two (2) years’ banking experience or experience in a comparable field.
  • Two (2) years’ supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred, a comparable combination of education and experience may be considered.

Education

  • Two (2) years’ supervisory experience.

Relationships and Contacts

  • Internal: Reports to Regional Retail Manager; Frequent contact with Team members at various levels through the Bank to discuss products, services, policies, procedures, and changes.
  • External: Frequent contact with current and potential customers regarding products and services; Representation of the Bank through community involvement and volunteerism.

Working Conditions

  • Traditional office environment with no unusual work conditions.
  • The office maintains six-day a week operation (Monday – Saturday) with operational hours varying based on branch location.
  • Branch Team Members are required to work a minimum of two (2) Saturdays per month.

Compliance

  • Comply with all applicable regulations and Bank policies regarding employment and employment law.
  • Participate in annual compliance and other job-related training.
  • Comply with applicable bank regulations, Bank policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Bank’s internal privacy and ethics standards.

Qualifications

  • Must meet NMLS requirements.
