Financial Capabilities Volunteer Needed in Palo Alto

FinCap Program

The Building Skills Partnership (BSP) offers the FinCap (Financial Capability) Program to help individuals and families achieve their financial goals. Participants work towards these goals under the guidance of volunteers like yourself.

• Provide encouragement and accountability as participants work towards their financial goals.
• Aid in budgeting, saving, credit building, and financial education.
• Connect participants with valuable community resources.
• Empower people to build long-term financial stability and independence.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient.
• Great listener.
• Comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Interested in financial education or community empowerment (financial expertise is a plus, but training will be provided).
• Able to commit to consistent volunteer hours.
• Must be able to speak Spanish.
