The Financial Analyst III – International will liaise with Arthrex Business Units to deliver reporting and analysis, as well as provide financial, market, and best practice insight and guidance in support of sales performance and business optimization. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provide routine and ad-hoc financial analysis and reportingAnalyze financial results for accuracy, determining variance drivers and documenting performance commentary. Perform trend and sensitivity analyses to determine potential impacts on business resultsMaintain cross-functional relationships with applicable business units and participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the status of identified initiatives Gather, organize, and present financial data for the applicable area for management reporting and in preparation for regular leadership reviewsPrepare and summarize plan vs. actual reports and variance explanations for applicable areasUnderstand and monitor relevant KPIs/trends/events impacting the business and incorporate this information into forecasts and analysesResearch and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areasImplement and support continuous improvement in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting efficiency and effectivenessExercise flexibility in working time or hours when needed to meet project deadlines and quality expectations Additional Duties And Responsibilities International Reporting Partner with Global Finance Teams to align on reporting systems, developments, and improvements in company-wide reportingLiaise with Global Finance Team to develop and report consistent financial KPIsPerform regular and ad hoc reporting, planning, and analysis activities in support of International Finance and Sales Teams in support of regional and global objectivesAssist in administration, preparation, and completion of sales and operational expense budgets and collaborate with International Finance and Sales partners to ensure all budget holders have sufficient working knowledge of their budgetsAnalyze market data in support of existing product lines, new business opportunities, and new product launchesMaintain cross-functional relationships with International Supply Chain, Operations, Transfer Pricing, and Global Finance and Accounting TeamsIdentify, research, and report on variances or unexpected activity within financial results, including review of actual vs. plan and year over year comparisonsPartner with International Finance Teams and IT Center of Excellence to understand and streamline best-practice processes and reporting Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business/ Economics required 3 years of relevant work experience required Specialized Skills Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office ApplicationsProblem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detailBasic knowledge of SAP/ERP system or equivalentStrong collaboration & negotiation skillsAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staffStrong presentation skillsAdvanced, working knowledge of applicable specialtyDemonstrated independent problem-solving abilities and ability to collaborate-cross functionally Ability to create or improve upon new or existing reporting and/and processesExcellent written and verbal communicationExpertise in BI reporting tools and underlying data Discretion / Latitude Work is performed under general direction.
