About the role

Republic Finance is seeking a Financial Analyst for its Finance team, focusing primarily on capital markets-related activities. This role offers significant and broad responsibilities with exposure to ABS and high yield markets, reporting to the Treasurer and providing exposure to the executive management team. The position is hybrid, based from home and in the Plano, TX office.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting for funding activities, including securitization trusts, asset-backed warehouse facilities, and bank asset-based credit facilities.
  • Assist in managing revolving facilities to maintain compliance with transaction requirements, including required balances and concentration limits across multiple entities.
  • Build processes to optimize the utilization of funding tools such as asset-backed securitizations and revolving bank facilities.
  • Collaborate with the transaction working group, including banking partners, rating agencies, internal/external legal teams, and trustees during new debt-related transactions.
  • Monitor and provide monthly updates on available liquidity, securitization performance, and loan portfolio metrics to support strategic discussions with management.
  • Create quarterly investor presentations for earnings reports and other ad hoc reporting as required by management.
  • Develop standard presentation materials for external parties, management, and board discussions.
  • Work closely with IT and data stewards to improve and update information availability for ongoing reporting and new securitization requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required; an advanced degree is attractive.
  • Experience in a capital markets or commercial banking role requiring strong analytical skills, or with an accounting firm with exposure to capital markets clients.
  • Robust understanding of the consumer lending business, including asset-backed warehouse facilities and specialty lending operations.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with SQL and financial modeling is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, leadership abilities, intellectual curiosity, and creativity.
  • Proficient with the MS Office suite.
