This position is located at the Home Office in Bozeman, MT with the ability to work Hybrid if living within a 40-mile radius.

About the role

The Financial Analyst is responsible for the analysis, forecasting, budgeting and summarization of the company’s financial information. This role requires a team-player with analytical skills, attention to detail, strong ethics, a positive attitude, and job commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Real Estate Manager with lease administration, critical date tracking, and occupancy cost reporting.
  • Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  • Analyze store, regional, and channel profitability to support business decisions.
  • Evaluate sales, gross margin, pricing, and product mix performance.
  • Lead the reconciliation of retail customer credit card transactions, ensuring accurate settlement, reporting, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Improve reporting, automate processes, and leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance financial insights and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal (bookkeepers, managers, receivers, purchasing, advertising) and external (vendors, accounts receivable customers, bank, etc.) customers.
  • Master all areas within the Microsoft Application Suite related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and appropriate functions in Point of Sale and Inventory.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year previous accounting/finance experience and a 4-year accounting/finance degree.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
  • Strong computer and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter and able to interact positively with employees and customers at all levels of the company.
  • Teamwork-oriented with actions and attitude aligned with the company’s Mission, Values, and Principles.
