Financial Analyst
About the role
The Financial Analyst is responsible for the administration, direction, and coordination of professional services activities for Loma Linda University Medical Group, Inc. and Loma Linda University Medicine. Functions as a liaison between the Professional Corporation administration and Loma Linda University Health Care. Monitors overall professional services as it relates to physician support for patient care. Reconciles all bank accounts to the general ledger cash accounts and prepares the necessary reconciling journal vouchers. Also prepares the proof of cash reconciliation. Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or a major in accounting
- Minimum one year of accounting or finance experience
Skills
- Able to read, write, and speak in English with professional quality
- Proficient with computer, printer, and software programs necessary for the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Able to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment
- Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
- Able to work calmly and respond courteously under pressure; collaborate and accept direction
- Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone
- Able to think critically and manage multiple assignments effectively
- Able to organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure
- Able to problem solve and recall information with accuracy
- Able to pay close attention to detail and work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to distinguish colors, hear sufficiently for general conversation, and see adequately to read computer screens and written documents
