About the role

Join Lendio’s world-class FP&A team, where innovation and an uplifting culture drive impactful business decisions. With financial reporting largely automated, the team focuses on partnering with leadership to improve business outcomes through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Use Excel, SQL, and other information systems to analyze financial and operational data, extract key insights, and present polished recommendations to management and business owners.
  • Manage complex projects and ad-hoc analyses to support critical business partners across Lendio with strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Identify, plan, and discuss new strategies to improve corporate financial performance.
  • Send regular reports to the CFO, Executive Management, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to financial planning, including the annual plan, quarterly forecasts, and long-range outlooks.
  • Measure corporate performance against KPIs and assist business partners in adjusting strategy as needed.
  • Work with forecasting tools, business intelligence tools, and accounting systems to extract relevant data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with financial/accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Adaptive).
  • Advanced Excel skills (PowerQuery, PowerPivot, or DAX is a bonus).
  • SQL experience (bonus).
  • Experience with Tableau (bonus).
  • Tech/FinTech background (bonus).

A successful candidate will demonstrate experience influencing business owners, supporting decision-making, and driving bottom-line impact with a quantitative, data-driven mindset and effective communication skills.
