Financial Analyst
About the role
The Financial Specialist I position provides accounting and analytical support to ensure the financial health and operational success of the facility. This role plays a crucial role in supporting management's objectives through the analysis of performance metrics and the development of financial strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze operational results, customer profitability, and capital projects to optimize financial returns.
- Prepare journal vouchers and participate in month-end close processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily, weekly, and monthly financial activities and reports.
- Perform data entry and utilize systems for research and analysis.
- Complete various reporting requirements and maintain compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Investigate, review, and evaluate financial transactions and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Review and balance production hours entered into the payroll system for the home site.
Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, with work experience in manufacturing facilities preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general business management principles, internal financial management, and industry practices.
- Effective communication skills with business leaders at various levels and functions.
