Financial Analyst

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Write and debug programs for processing trading data on a daily and monthly basis
• Maintain bank account reconciliations and implement process improvements
• Support the creation and maintenance of various accounting schedules (depreciation, lease liabilities, prepaids, etc.)
• Manage the usage of programs and assist with resolving errors
• Aid in the implementation and maintenance of connections with external platforms
• Leverage AI and other technology tools to develop and maintain accounting processes
• Reconcile firm credit card activity
• Assist with the reconciliation of monthly general ledger accounts
• Maintain daily and monthly account reconciliations
• All other duties as assigned

  Qualifications

  • 1 year or more years of finance experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), programming (Python, VBA), and computational and statistical data analysis
  • 1 year or more years of Broker Dealer experience highly preferred
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Oracle preferred)
  • Detail and deadline oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to assist with task tracking, collaboration, and timely completion of deliverables
  • Ability to multi-task projects

  Education And Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, and/or Computer Science, Information Technology (preferred)
