Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Write and debug programs for processing trading data on a daily and monthly basis
- Maintain bank account reconciliations and implement process improvements
- Support the creation and maintenance of various accounting schedules (depreciation, lease liabilities, prepaids, etc.)
- Manage the usage of programs and assist with resolving errors
- Aid in the implementation and maintenance of connections with external platforms
- Leverage AI and other technology tools to develop and maintain accounting processes
- Reconcile firm credit card activity
- Assist with the reconciliation of monthly general ledger accounts
- Maintain daily and monthly account reconciliations
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1 year or more years of finance experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), programming (Python, VBA), and computational and statistical data analysis
- 1 year or more years of Broker Dealer experience highly preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software (Oracle preferred)
- Detail and deadline oriented with excellent time management skills
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to assist with task tracking, collaboration, and timely completion of deliverables
- Ability to multi-task projects
Education And Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, and/or Computer Science, Information Technology (preferred)
