Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide financial information to management on direct research costs and assist principal investigators in fiscal management.
- Set up new accounts and budgets, monitor expenditures, ensure they are allowable and within budget, perform financial analysis and projections of funding status, and report expenditures to awarding agencies.
- Participate in audits of expenditures.
- Prepare, validate, and analyze detailed financial information; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries for one or more business units; reconcile general ledger account balances on a monthly basis.
- Assist with reviewing and editing of quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Forecast and budget subscriber circulation revenue and production raw material costs.
- Financial reporting, including ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by management.
- Make appropriate accounting entries and journal entries.
- Perform account reconciliations including bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accruals, accounts payable, debt, and fixed assets.
- Perform various general accounting duties related to the completion of timely and accurate monthly financial statements for the organization, including work papers for assigned general ledger.
Skills
- Well-developed PC skills using all standard SuccessEHS EMR software.

- The ability to work with minimal supervision.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Master’s degree strongly preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
