You will make an impact by:
- Making presentations to students and prospective students about costs of attendance, available financial aid options, and student loan counseling.
- Reviewing and updating student records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensuring proper eligibility and processing of financial aid in accordance with federal, state, and institutional rules and regulations.
- Aiding students and parents with the process of requesting FSA User IDs, completing FAFSAs, MPNs, and online student loan counseling.
- Providing in-person student loan counseling for those who cannot complete online counseling.
Your Experience Includes:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a customer service provider in a professional environment.
- Ability to demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and professional ethics in all aspects of the job function.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear, effective delivery of information.
- Excellent customer service skills, maintaining a professional, helpful, and positive demeanor.
- No current default on a federal student loan or repayment on a federal grant.
- Consent to audio and video recording of financial aid appointments and overviews for training and quality assurance purposes.
Education:
An associate's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
