Essential Functions
- Aid students in navigating the financial aid process
- Complete applications, verify documents, and submit required forms
- Conduct financial aid presentations and individual counseling sessions
- Evaluate student financial aid applications
- Maintain accurate and complete student financial aid records
- Resolve complex financial aid issues
- Communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
- Develop and implement financial aid policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Previous experience in a financial aid or student services role
- Strong knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Proficient in computer applications
