About the role
The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for managing financial aid programs, assisting students with applications, and ensuring compliance with federal and institutional regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage financial aid programs and processes
- Assist students with financial aid applications and appeals
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial aid paperwork
- Communicate with students, parents, and other stakeholders regarding financial aid matters
- Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and institutional financial aid regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial aid administration
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal and institutional financial aid policies and procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Experience with financial aid software systems
