About the Opportunity:The FINANCIAL AID OFFICER plays a critical role in supporting prospective and current students by advising them on financial aid options, including Title IV Programs. This position ensures students receive accurate information and assistance in applying for aid, while maintaining compliance and timely processing of financial aid packages. The role contributes to the financial accessibility of education and collaborates with leadership to enhance the quality of the Financial Aid Department. Responsibilities:Advise students on availability and application of Title IV funds and other financial resourcesAssist with completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and Direct Loan CounselingComplete verification for applications selected by the Department of EducationResolve discrepancies between financial aid and other student documentsProvide financial aid estimates for prospective studentsSubmit student files for compliance review promptly with low error ratesCoordinate with admissions to ensure documentation completeness for financial aid packagingUpload and maintain records in the CampusVue systemUpdate leadership on incomplete student documentation affecting Title IV fundingInform students about Institutional Payment Plans and facilitate their completionTrack activities and usage of CampusVuePerform other duties as assigned Requirements:High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of EducationMinimum of 1 year of customer service experienceAbility to multitask and stay organizedStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityNo federal student loan defaults Preferred:Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited institutionAt least 1 year of experience in Financial AidExperience using CampusVue Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
