About the role

The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for managing financial aid programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing guidance to students and families.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial aid applications and disbursements
• Oversee compliance with federal and state financial aid regulations
• Provide counseling and guidance to students and families regarding financial aid options
• Prepare reports and documentation as required
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless student support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial aid administration
• Strong knowledge of federal and state financial aid policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Experience working with college/university settings
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
