About the role
The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for managing the financial aid programs at our institution. This includes processing applications, communicating with students and families about financial aid options, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process financial aid applications in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate with students and families regarding financial aid awards and disbursements.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports and documentation to external agencies.
- Provide guidance and support to students and families regarding financial aid policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in federal and state financial aid laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., finance, education, social work).
- At least 2 years of experience in financial aid administration or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Qualifications
- Experience working with college/university settings preferred.
- Knowledge of FAFSA and other financial aid forms.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
