AccountingFull-time

Description

Amazon is building one of the world's most advanced delivery fleets — and we need a bold finance leader to help shape its future. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role driving investment strategy across a large-scale global fleet infrastructure.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own financial planning and investment evaluation frameworks for fleet infrastructure, including accruals, variance analysis, and monthly close processes
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify risks, evaluate financial impacts, and influence decisions that improve outcomes and reduce costs
  • Work across diverse data sources to identify quality issues, drive root cause analysis, and implement solutions
  • Improve, automate, and standardize finance processes to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Communicate complex financial topics clearly to varied audiences and lead projects that streamline reporting and planning

A day in the life

  • Advising senior leaders on infrastructure investment trade-offs, bringing financial rigor to decisions that shape Amazon's long-term delivery capabilities
  • Developing and stress-testing investment frameworks that evaluate cost structures, risk profiles, and return potential across a large, complex asset base
  • Determining monthly close and variance analysis — and more importantly, turning those results into forward-looking insights that inform planning and resource allocation
  • Partnering with Engineering, Procurement, Data Science, and Sustainability to ensure financial strategy is embedded in operational and technical decision-making
  • Building scalable, automated reporting infrastructure that gives leadership real-time visibility into a global fleet asset base
  • Preparing executive-level materials that distill complexity into clear narratives and actionable recommendations
