About the role
The F&I Manager at Honda of Thousand Oaks is responsible for structuring and selling finance, lease, and protection products to ensure every customer leaves with the right deal. This role requires a deep understanding of deal structure, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Present and sell finance, lease, and protection products with clarity, professionalism, and compliance
- Structure deals to optimize profitability, lender alignment, and customer satisfaction
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial institutions
- Drive performance across key metrics such as Per Vehicle Retail (PVR), Product penetration (VSC, GAP, maintenance), Menu utilization and compliance, Funding speed and deal accuracy
- Ensure all deals meet state, federal, and lender compliance standards
- Partner closely with Sales Managers to ensure clean, efficient deal flow
- Deliver a seamless, professional experience that builds trust and repeat business
Requirements
- Proven experience as an F&I Manager or high-performing F&I Producer
- Strong understanding of deal structure, lending, and compliance
- Track record of delivering consistent PVR and product penetration results
- Excellent communication and customer-facing professionalism
- High level of organization and deal accuracy
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Preferred Experience
- In a Honda or high-volume import dealership
- Familiarity with Dealertrack, RouteOne, Reynolds, or similar platforms
- Deep understanding of menu selling and lender programs
- Knowledge of compliance regulations (TILA, Reg Z, FCRA, etc.)
