Finance Manager

About the role

As a Finance Manager on our Tools & Outdoor Global Supply Chain Finance team, you’ll work as an on-site employee in Martin, TN, driving key business cadences and supporting plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive business cadences including month-end close, forecasting, operating plan, and risk mitigation.
• Perform variance analysis of accounts as needed.
• Provide costing support for Annual Cost Update/Analysis.
• Maintain the MAPICS general ledger (tie-outs, roll-overs, chart of accounts, statement formats, etc.).
• Assist with managerial accounting in support of plant operations, including managing 1 direct report (Finance Analyst).
• Coordinate distribution, loading, and tie-out for SG&A forecast targets.
• Manage SG&A budget and headcount tracking.
• Spearhead process improvements that deliver efficiency gains and impact business results.
• Lead the Annual Physical Inventory and monthly Cycle Count program.
• Complete tax documents (e.g., TN sales tax returns, annual property tax returns).
• Provide reporting and query capabilities to support sites, project teams, and general analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–7 years of Accounting or Finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven problem-solving skills, strong oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of GAAP.
• Highly proficient in Excel; knowledge of Hyperion HFM.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries, both cross-functionally and with business and Finance leadership.
• Knowledge of AS400/Mapics system; ISO and/or SOX Compliance Standards.
