About the role

Be part of EchoStar's innovation with our Financial Analysis team and influence our business from the bottom line. The Financial Analysis team is responsible for strategic valuation, ad hoc financial analysis, subscriber valuation, and business case development across EchoStar's growing telecom portfolio. As a senior member of the Financial Analysis team, you will lead complex strategic workstreams and have the opportunity to engage with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across the entire company.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Analysis team as they operate and improve subscriber profitability models
• Evaluate subscriber facing offers for profitability and financial risks
• Assist operational groups with financial modeling, revenue and cost forecasting, and ad hoc analysis
• Perform financial and strategic analyses in collaboration with operating groups to improve performance for all areas of the business
• Assist with M&A activity by conducting due diligence and creating forward looking financial and valuation models
• Interpret financial data and communicate conclusions and recommendations to key stakeholders
• Create and deliver financial presentations to upper management

Requirements

• MBA, MS-Finance, or other related Master’s degree is preferred, but not required
• 5+ years prior work experience is preferred, with management experience

Skills

• Established leadership skills and an ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Strong understanding of valuation and other key finance concepts
• Outstanding problem solving and quantitative analysis abilities
• Ability to define problems, seek and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials

Pay

Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year
