Finance Manager

About the Role

As a CBRE Finance Consultant, you will apply cash and accrual accounting fundamentals to work with clients on a wide range of small to medium sized investments and tax strategies to better understand the future of their assets. This role is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function, responsible for the maintenance of accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders.
• Review the portfolio’s financial life to help clients identify future goals.
• Create and manage the business and financial strategy.
• Research and interpret a variety of financial results and indicators, including capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
• Compile and review budgetary and fiscal data from various sources to prepare revenue balance statements and historical comparisons.
• Complete basic evaluations of records (present and past) to project future revenue and expenses, including operations, trends, costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.
• Conduct special studies as assigned to support senior management.
• Discuss budgets with management and advise on effective use of resources and underlying forecasts.
• Aid in the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of your job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, building consensus and convincing others to reach agreements.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and other related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.

Requirements

• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial-related figures.

Pay

The minimum salary for the Finance Manager position is $60,000 annually, and the maximum salary is $105,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience.
