Responsibilities
- Aid in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including cost coding, invoice processing, payment preparation, and data analysis.
- Support payroll processing, payroll documentation, timekeeping records, and related payroll reporting.
- Perform account and bank reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end financial processing.
- Assist with grant accounting, budgeting, fixed asset accounting, general journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Compile, verify, and maintain financial records, reports, and other financial data.
- Provide general office support, including answering phones, filing, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience, or Associate degree with 1 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including public speaking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Empathetic and patient demeanor, with strong active listening skills.
- Proficiency in developing individualized service and employment plans with actionable steps.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and data entry/management systems.
