Essential Functions
- Afford assistance with processing invoices
- Afford assistance with insurance bank account reconciliation
- Afford assistance with purchase card reconciliation
- Afford assistance with collecting retiree health insurance payment and maintain a ledger of payments received
- Afford assistance in Food Service data management and reporting
- Provide professional and friendly customer service skills
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports
- Navigate accounting software
- Use various office machines and computer equipment
- Maintain high accuracy in numerical data entry and document review
- Perform some typing ability
- Maintain a variety of files, documents, and student records for the purpose of documenting and/or providing reliable information relative to student records
- Maintain an organized Records Storage Building where hardcopy files are kept
- Comply with student record-keeping retention and destruction as required by law
- Afford assistance with mailroom clerk - Primary contact for Pitney Bowes
- Afford assistance with other business office staff as needed
- Afford assistance with building receptionists on multi-line telephone
- Afford assistance with requests for students, colleges/universities, and employment agencies for the purpose of providing required information such as transcripts
- Perform various other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma
- Experience desired: Wide range of clerical experience and some degree of accounting experience (School setting experience preferred, but not required)
- Other requirements: Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education. Excellent organizational skills, oral and written skills, time management, and telephone skills. Computer knowledge and assistive technology.
