Finance Assistant

We are currently seeking a finance assistant to work with the Trust Finance Team to provide a high quality, efficient and effective finance services for the 3 secondary schools within our Trust. Key aspects of the role will be processing transactions on the finance system including orders, invoices, obtaining authorisation, and dealing with queries therefore you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a good attention to detail and an enthusiastic approach to your work.
The role will be predominantly based at Brinsworth Academy but there must be flexibility to work across the other secondary sites.
Responsibilities
- Processing transactions on the finance system including orders, invoices, obtaining authorisation, and dealing with queries

Requirements
Key requirements include:
- Experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of financial systems and processes
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Flexibility to work across multiple sites
Qualifications
Qualifications required include:
- GCSEs in relevant subjects (ideally Maths and English)
- Experience in a similar role

Pay
Actual Salary £18,977-£19,278 (FTE £25,583 - £25,989)
Schedule
Part Time (32 Hours per week), Term Time Only
