Field Technical Specialist

Location: Tennessee, TN

About the role

Provide hardware support and related services for HP PC and Printer products at customer sites. Configure hardware, software, and network components, perform repairs, and troubleshoot technical issues. Manage critical service events, educate customers about technology, and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Collaborate with escalation teams and technical personnel to develop and implement technical action plans. Maintain awareness of the financial and business impact of service delivery to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site hardware support for HP PC and Printer products
• Configure hardware, software, and network components
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot technical issues
• Manage critical service events
• Educate customers about technology
• Collaborate with escalation teams to develop technical action plans
• Maintain awareness of financial and business impact of service delivery

Requirements

• Technical or mechanical hardware repair experience
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments
• Availability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including non-traditional workdays and holidays
• Onsite customer-facing experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent; additional hardware technology training preferred
• College education preferred
