Field Supervisor - Clearwater WFL

About the role

As the operational liaison, the Field Supervisor oversees communication, coaching, and support to all Traffic Controllers. You’ll spend 90% of your working time in the field and 10% in the office, reporting directly to the Operations Manager for your location. Starting pay is $18.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Plan job inspection routes.
• Stock vehicles with proper signs, equipment, and supplies.
• Travel to job sites and inspect for safety and quality violations.
• Complete and submit all proper paperwork associated with field inspections.
• Be proficient in all Crew Lead activities.
• Check job sites and document all observations.
• Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are being followed at each site.
• Ensure that all appropriate equipment is available and that all workers understand the requirements for site equipment.
• Assist in making sure all proper documentation is up to date with workers' schedules.
• Assist with coordinating client needs.
• Serve as back-up coverage for evening and weekend calls if needed.
• Work flexible hours Monday–Friday and weekends when needed.
• Assist in ensuring all vehicles are always kept clean and in good working condition.
• Respond to emergency call-outs as required.
• Read and comprehend the Wright Safety Manual and Employee Handbook.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and must maintain a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
• Strong verbal communication skills; customer-facing experience preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred; smartphone proficiency required.
• Prior experience leading, managing, and supervising a team preferred.
• Traffic Control Supervisor (TCS) certification preferred but not required; candidates without this must obtain it within 60 days of hire.

Schedule

• 90% field time, 10% office time.
• Flexible hours Monday–Friday, with weekend availability required.
• Must be available for back-up coverage during evenings and weekends.
• Ability to respond to emergency call-outs as needed.
