Field Services Specialist I-III

About the role

This position is responsible for performing on-site and phone-assisted residential and small commercial energy assessments; resolving high usage inquiries; conducting residential meter tests; performing solar assessments; inspecting solar installations; performing meter exchanges; counseling members regarding energy usage and operational improvements; and performing other duties as assigned by the department manager or designee.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and phone-assisted residential and small commercial energy assessments.
• Resolve high usage inquiries.
• Conduct residential meter tests.
• Perform solar assessments and inspections.
• Perform meter exchanges.
• Counsel members regarding energy usage and operational improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Field Services Specialist I: Minimum 2 years of experience in the electric utility industry or a related field, preferably in energy conservation.
• Field Services Specialist II & III: Minimum 2-year associate degree in electrical engineering, construction, conservation field or related discipline.

Qualifications

• Field Services Specialist I: Certification to perform Residential/Commercial Energy Assessments.
• Field Services Specialist II: FSEC Residential Energy Auditor (or equivalent) certification within 2 years.
• Field Services Specialist III: BPI Building Analyst Professional certification or equivalent within 2 years.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $[Salary Range], commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Normal work hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Some evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
