What's the Opportunity
- Possesses the physical ability to operate in confined industrial settings and to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective glasses, gloves, clothing, and footwear.
- Willing to travel up to 70% regionally and locally, including overnight and air travel, with occasional weekend and outside business hours.
- Develops comprehensive knowledge of company products and adapts them to diverse customer environments. Ensures proper review of all installed Vero product solutions with the field coordination team. Provides on-site technical support for industrial and manufacturing clients to ensure customer satisfaction, troubleshooting and repairing product installations as needed.
- Maintains installation and field service records and manages service tools and inventory to ensure asset accountability.
- Interacts professionally with customers, representing the company image, and building trust to gain confidence and cooperation.
- Maintains accurate expense records weekly. Works autonomously with minimal supervision, demonstrating professional communication and conduct.
- Comprehends customer needs and delivers courteous, accurate, and continuous communication. Prioritizes tasks effectively, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Collaborates well within teams and translates leadership vision into daily operational support.
- Embraces accountability, behaves ethically, and takes responsibility for work goals.
- Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, air tools, and large, specialized tools specific to the job/project.
- General knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- General knowledge of industrial electronic systems, including enclosures, cabinets, chassis, electrical connectors, cabling, and mounting hardware.
- Familiarity with industrial networking equipment and protocols.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance, commissioning new systems, and repairing associated equipment is preferred but not required.
- Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
- Legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in the field service industry desired
- Familiarity with vibration analysis and environmental testing, including vibration and shock, is preferred but not required.
- OSHA 10; OSHA 30 preferred - can be obtained upon hiring.
