Position Summary
This role covers the Cherokee and Franklin North Carolina area and region. What You Will Do
- Perform Preventative maintenance on EGMs (Electronic Gaming Machines), ETGs (Electronic Table Games), and equipment, adhering to Gaming Commission and company standards.
- Navigate Management Terminal (MT) daily to verify EGM status.
- Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change orders.
- Complete accurate Incident Reports in accordance with the Gaming Commission and company standards.
- Complete required maintenance records in a clear and precise manner.
- Complete detailed daily/weekly tech logs.
- Adhere to L&W's Field Service established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Follow L&W's safety procedures (vehicle safety, loading games, ladder use, and electricity).
- Ensure all tools and equipment used are kept in proper, safe, and working condition.
- Stay current with all Light & Wonder Field Advisories and eLearning.
- Review customer issues with management and technical leads as they arise.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years old, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain gaming licenses as required.
- One year experience in the assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience and related gaming school certificate of completion, or equivalent.
- Basic troubleshooting techniques in isolating and correcting problems down to an assembly level.
- Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming type devices.
- Basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances.
- Able to transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices.
- Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand tools and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of PC operation and security risks relating to PC operation.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Able to prepare conversion projects or installations with limited or no supervision.
- Able to maintain good customer relations, both internally and externally.
- Good problem-solving skills.
