Position Summary

This role covers the Cherokee and Franklin North Carolina area and region. What You Will Do

  • Perform Preventative maintenance on EGMs (Electronic Gaming Machines), ETGs (Electronic Table Games), and equipment, adhering to Gaming Commission and company standards.
  • Navigate Management Terminal (MT) daily to verify EGM status.
  • Assemble and prepare accessories for installations per change orders.
  • Complete accurate Incident Reports in accordance with the Gaming Commission and company standards.
  • Complete required maintenance records in a clear and precise manner.
  • Complete detailed daily/weekly tech logs.
  • Adhere to L&W's Field Service established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow L&W's safety procedures (vehicle safety, loading games, ladder use, and electricity).
  • Ensure all tools and equipment used are kept in proper, safe, and working condition.
  • Stay current with all Light & Wonder Field Advisories and eLearning.
  • Review customer issues with management and technical leads as they arise.

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years old, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain gaming licenses as required.
  • One year experience in the assembly, testing, and repair of electronic gaming devices, or six months experience and related gaming school certificate of completion, or equivalent.
  • Basic troubleshooting techniques in isolating and correcting problems down to an assembly level.
  • Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming type devices.
  • Basic understanding of network communication and troubleshooting.
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances.
  • Able to transport heavy equipment using proper moving devices.
  • Demonstrate safe and proper use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Basic knowledge of PC operation and security risks relating to PC operation.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Able to prepare conversion projects or installations with limited or no supervision.
  • Able to maintain good customer relations, both internally and externally.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
