About the role

This position is directly responsible for serving the needs of our healthcare clients, including the delivery, pickup, and maintenance of cutting-edge medical device equipment. The Field Service Representative will interface with Solventum customers daily and is responsible for building, cultivating, and maintaining superior customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Supports customers—including patients and hospital staff—on a regular basis by providing superior customer service with customer-centric solutions.
  • Executes timely and accurate order management using company-issued computers and electronic equipment for documentation and record keeping.
  • Obtains and evaluates all information regarding service and product inquiries, providing prompt responses and appropriate follow-up.
  • Gathers customer feedback, responding and/or escalating to management as appropriate.
  • Assists customers in researching and locating missing or misplaced medical equipment within customer locations or the service environment.
  • Safely operates a company vehicle to support equipment delivery, retrieval, and onsite customer service requirements.
  • Prepares best-in-class medical device equipment (cleaning, disinfecting, quality validation, and routine maintenance), disposables, and documentation for delivery.
  • Organizes and executes assigned work tasks to meet customer expected timeframes for service efficiently.
  • Tracks inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies.
  • Contacts customers to coordinate delivery and retrieval of products.
  • Accurately prepares, picks, packs, ships, and receives inbound and outbound shipments using third-party partners; loads and unloads medical equipment from company vehicles.
  • Follows all work and safety instructions and conforms to company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a customer-facing or service-related field.
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to work a non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and iOS applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.

Additional Information

  • This role may require entry into healthcare or other third-party facilities, which may require specific licenses, vaccinations, or credentials for regulatory, safety, or business reasons.
  • Work location: Onsite.
  • Travel: May include up to 10% domestic (including potential for meetings or other business functions requiring commercial air travel).
  • Relocation assistance is not authorized for this position.
  • This position requires driving a company vehicle, including pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history.

Pay

The expected compensation range for this position is $37,840 - $52,030, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors including relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
