About the Opportunity
The Field Service Representative I role supports Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operations both within the continental United States and overseas. This position is pivotal in maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting deployed UAS, ensuring operational readiness and acting as the critical link between deployed units and the home office. The role requires adaptation to rapid development cycles and diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Support forward-deployed and training activities
- Analyze system operations and provide detailed reports
- Install hardware, software, and manage technical issues
- Test, repair, and replace system components
- Conduct integrity testing and gather customer feedback
- Prepare and present incident and performance reports
- Deliver complex onsite training to customer support personnel
Requirements
- Meet military health standards for worldwide deployment
- Hold DoD Secret security clearance or higher
- Possess or qualify for FAA Class 3 medical certificate
- High computer literacy including software/hardware installation and networking knowledge
- Experience in avionics, electronics, wire harness fabrication, soldering, and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with aircraft networks, datalinks, Vortex, SATCOM, and COMSEC equipment and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience
- 3-5 years of relevant unmanned aviation experience
Pay
Hourly rate: $43.00 - $51.00; salary depends on experience, education, training, skills, and other factors; eligible for an annual bonus.
